Alumni Programme 2021-22

 

Our sessions will take place once every six weeks, starting at 4.00 pm until 6.00 pm. The sessions will alternate between a Wednesday and a Thursday to maximise your ability to attend. We are delighted that St. John's Foundation has kindly made their city centre boardroom available for us to hold this year's sessions.

Sessions will rotate as follows:

​

• Session 1 - an external speaker (business or charity leader) will be invited to present and lead a discussion

• Session 2 - a consultant (typically drawn from the programme team) will be invited to design and deliver a development session

• Session 3 - a member of the Alumni network will design and deliver a session or discussion

• Session 4 - a local charity will be invited to present on the work of their organisation

We would also like to engage a team of Alumni to work on a social community project, so will be exploring levels of interest, potential topics and organisations with you.

​

For those sessions where we invite in either an external speaker or local charity, Alumni will be able to 'bring a buddy' - someone else from their own organisation, who may be interested in attending. Invitations will also be extended to people from organisations who may be considering sponsoring a member of their staff to participate in the next year's Bath Future Talent Programme. We hope that this will contribute to Alumni continuing to extend their networks across the city and, more widely, across BaNES.

External speakers will be drawn from a wide and diverse range of organisations to provide greater insight into leadership, to stimulate discussion and enable you to learn more about the work of some of the many charitable organisations in Bath and surrounding areas.
